At SASProductions LLC ("we," "us," "our"), operating shootingastargear.com under the brand "Shooting A Star Gear," we ship orders worldwide from our United States fulfillment location. This Shipping Policy explains our shipping methods, costs, processing times, delivery expectations, and customer responsibilities for all orders placed at shootingastargear.com.

1. Order processing time

  • Orders are processed Monday through Friday, excluding US federal holidays
  • Standard processing time is 1–3 business days from order confirmation
  • Orders placed on weekends or holidays begin processing the next business day
  • During peak periods (holidays, major sales, product launches), processing may take an additional 1–2 business days
  • You will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information once your order ships

Orders requiring backorder fulfillment, customization, or supplier coordination may require additional processing time. Where applicable, this is noted on the product page or communicated by email after order placement.

2. Domestic shipping (United States)

We offer the following shipping options for orders shipped within the United States, including all 50 states, Washington DC, US territories, and APO/FPO military addresses where carrier coverage permits:

Free standard shipping is automatically applied at checkout for qualifying domestic orders of $300.00 USD or more (calculated after discounts and before taxes).

Transit times are estimates provided by our shipping carriers and begin after the order has been processed and shipped. Transit times are not guaranteed and may be affected by carrier delays, weather, or other factors outside our control.

3. International shipping

We ship to 27 countries including Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Czechia, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong SAR, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Arab Emirates, and the United Kingdom.

Free international shipping is automatically applied at checkout for qualifying international orders of $400.00 USD or more (calculated after discounts and before taxes).

*International transit times are estimates and do not include customs clearance time, which can add anywhere from 1 to 21+ business days depending on the destination country, item type, and customs processing speed. We have no control over customs processing times.

If your destination country is not listed above, we are unable to ship to that location at this time. Please contact support@shootingastargear.com to inquire about future expansion.

4. Customs duties, taxes, and import fees (international orders)

International customers are solely responsible for all customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees, value-added taxes (VAT), goods and services taxes (GST), and any other charges levied by the destination country's customs authority.

  • These charges are not included in the product price or shipping cost at checkout
  • The carrier (UPS, DHL, FedEx, USPS, or destination postal service) typically collects these fees upon delivery
  • We are unable to estimate, prepay, or refund these charges
  • Refusal to pay customs charges may result in the package being returned, abandoned, or destroyed by customs authorities, with no refund issued

We recommend contacting your local customs office before ordering if you have questions about import fees in your country.

Country-specific notes

  • Canada: Orders are subject to GST/HST and may incur duties under USMCA thresholds. Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) and the carrier will assess fees upon entry.
  • United Kingdom: Orders are subject to UK VAT and import duties as assessed by HMRC.
  • European Union: Orders are subject to VAT and import duties under EU IOSS or DDU rules depending on order value.
  • Australia: Orders may be subject to GST as assessed by the Australian Border Force.

5. Shipping carriers

We use trusted carriers including but not limited to USPS, UPS, FedEx, DHL Express, and DHL eCommerce. The specific carrier used for your order is selected based on destination, package weight, dimensions, and service level. The carrier and tracking number will be provided in your shipping confirmation email.

6. Order tracking

  • A shipping confirmation email containing your tracking number is sent once your order ships
  • Tracking information is typically available within 24 hours of shipment
  • Track your order at any time using the link in your shipping confirmation email or by logging into your account at shootingastargear.com
  • If you have not received a tracking email within 5 business days of placing your order, check your spam folder, then contact us at support@shootingastargear.com

7. Delivery and signature requirements

  • Most orders do not require a signature upon delivery
  • Orders valued over $300 USD may require an adult signature at delivery, at our or the carrier's discretion
  • It is the customer's responsibility to provide a complete, accurate, and secure delivery address
  • We are not responsible for packages stolen from the delivery location after carrier confirmation of delivery
  • For high-value orders, we recommend shipping to an address where someone is available to receive the package

8. Address accuracy

Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate shipping addresses at checkout. We ship to the address provided exactly as entered.

  • Verify your address carefully before submitting your order
  • Address change requests can be accommodated only if the order has not yet shipped — contact us at support@shootingastargear.com within 2 hours of placing your order
  • Orders shipped to incorrect or incomplete addresses provided by the customer that are returned to us as undeliverable will be subject to a reshipment fee equal to original shipping cost
  • Orders that cannot be delivered due to customer error and are not reshipped within 14 days will be refunded for the product cost only (original shipping is non-refundable)

9. Lost, stolen, or damaged packages

Lost in transit

A package is considered lost if tracking shows no movement for 10+ business days domestically or 30+ business days internationally.

If your package appears lost:

  1. Check tracking and your delivery location thoroughly
  2. Confirm with neighbors and your local carrier office
  3. Contact us at support@shootingastargear.com with your order number — we will open an investigation with the carrier
  4. Investigations may take 5–15 business days to resolve

If the carrier confirms the package as lost, we will issue a replacement or full refund at our discretion.

Stolen after delivery

If tracking shows "Delivered" but you did not receive the package:

  1. Contact the carrier directly to file a claim
  2. File a police report (required for our investigation in cases over $100)
  3. Contact us at support@shootingastargear.com with the police report and tracking details

We are not generally responsible for packages stolen after carrier-confirmed delivery, but we will work with you and the carrier to seek resolution.

Damaged in transit

If your order arrives visibly damaged:

  1. Take photos of the package and contents before unpacking further
  2. Contact us within 7 days of delivery at support@shootingastargear.com with photos and your order number
  3. We will arrange a replacement, refund, or store credit per our Refund & Returns Policy

10. Failed delivery and package refusal

If a package is returned to us due to:

  • Customer refusal to accept delivery
  • Failure to pay customs duties (international orders)
  • Repeated failed delivery attempts at the customer's address
  • Customer-provided address being incorrect or incomplete

The customer will be refunded for the product cost only. Original shipping costs and any return shipping fees charged by the carrier are non-refundable. Reshipment requires payment of new shipping fees.

11. PO Boxes, APO/FPO, and remote locations

  • PO Boxes: Standard shipping only; some carriers cannot deliver to PO Boxes
  • APO/FPO/DPO military addresses: Shipped via USPS only; transit times are extended (typically 7–21 business days)
  • Remote or rural locations: May incur additional carrier surcharges or extended transit times. We reserve the right to contact the customer if additional shipping costs apply before fulfilling the order.

12. Order changes and cancellations

  • Address changes, item swaps, or cancellations may be accommodated only if the order has not yet entered fulfillment
  • Contact us at support@shootingastargear.com within 2 hours of placing your order to request changes
  • Once an order has shipped, changes cannot be made — you will need to follow our return process upon delivery

13. Multiple shipments

Large orders or orders containing items from different fulfillment locations may ship in multiple packages with separate tracking numbers. You will receive a separate shipping confirmation email for each shipment. No additional shipping fees are charged for split shipments.

14. Holidays and peak season

During the following peak periods, processing and transit times may be extended by 2–5 business days:

  • Black Friday / Cyber Monday (late November)
  • December holiday season (December 1–24)
  • Major product launches and flash sales

We recommend ordering early during these periods to ensure timely delivery. Specific holiday shipping deadlines are posted on our website each year.

15. Restricted destinations

We do not ship to:

  • Countries not listed in Section 3
  • Countries currently subject to US trade sanctions or export restrictions
  • Freight forwarders or package consolidation services without prior written approval
  • Locations where local law prohibits import of our products

We reserve the right to cancel and refund any order that violates these restrictions.

16. Changes to this shipping policy

We reserve the right to update this Shipping Policy at any time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated via our website. Orders placed before a policy change are governed by the shipping terms in effect at the time of order.
