Shooting A Star Gear was born on a film set — not in a boardroom.

We're independent filmmakers who got tired of overpaying for gear, waiting weeks for shipping, and digging through generic marketplaces that didn't understand what we actually needed. So we built the store we wished existed.

Every product in our catalog is hand-selected with one question in mind: Would we use this on our own productions? If the answer is no, it doesn't make the cut.

Shooting A Star Gear is the retail arm of SAS Productions LLC, the independent film studio behind Blood Bond: A Twins Journey and other original projects. We're a team of working creatives — directors, DPs, editors, and producers — who live the same shoot-day reality as our customers.
